There are two different styles for displaying the lists of items available in query forms:
| Combo | The list of available items appears directly in the combo boxes on the form. You can select the component or property in the list of the combo box and deselect an item by clicking on the first (blank) line in the list of the combo box. You can press the key with the first letter of the compound's formula or property's name to quickly access the corresponding part of the list and continue pressing this key to finally find the compound. |
| Text field | Microsoft Internet Explorer only The list of available items appears in the right part of the window when the user clicks inside a cell where the item is intended to be inserted. Clicking on an item in the list inserts the item into the cell. It is recommended not to try editing the records thus inserted in the cells. |
