Tables page , List of Tables page The tables contain experimental data taken from original publications. In the cases when the data were published as plots, a special digitizer program was used to convert plots into tabulated numeric values. Each table also presents a pertinent information about the experimental procedures. You can select tables that conform to various conditions: author names, years of publications, source, property group etc.
Glasses page , List of Glasses page Information about specific glasses is stored in a special database containing the “standardized” data. This means that temperature-dependent property values are stored as values for selected standard temperatures or values of temperatures corresponding to standard values of properties. In cases when experimental data given in the initial table did not correspond to the standard values, the experimental temperature dependence of a property was described by an empirical equation, which was then used to obtain the standard property values. You can select the glasses that conform to various conditions: ranges of components concentration and particular property values, kind of a system etc.
Calculator The Calculator makes it easy to predict property values for given glass or glass-forming melt compositions with most commonly used methods of calculations. Each method is accompanied by comments on the limitations of its use stated by the author of the method.
